These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of www.riseforindia.org(“Platform”), operated by Shivprabha Charitable Trust (“Trust”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

 

1. Nature of the Platform

RiseForIndia.org is a technology‑enabled crowdfunding platform that facilitates fundraising for charitable, social, educational, medical, and humanitarian causes. The Platform acts as an intermediary to connect donors with causes and beneficiaries.

The Trust does not guarantee outcomes of campaigns or beneficiary results.

 

2. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 18 years old to donate or create campaigns

• Use of the Platform must comply knowing all applicable laws of India

• Information provided must be true, accurate, and complete

 

3. User Accounts

• Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials

• Users are responsible for all activities conducted through their account

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these Terms

 

4. Donations

• Donations made through the Platform are voluntary and non‑refundable unless otherwise required by law

• Donation utilisation is the responsibility of the campaigner/beneficiary

• RiseForIndia.org does not provide any investment or financial returns

 

5. 80G Tax Benefits

• Eligible donations may qualify for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961

• PAN and other statutory details are mandatory for issuance of 80G receipts

• Issuance of 80G certificates is subject to compliance with applicable laws

• The Trust is not responsible for denial of tax benefits due to incorrect donor information

 

6. Campaign Creation & Management

Campaigners agree that:

• All information shared is truthful and verifiable

• Funds raised will be used solely for the stated purpose

• Supporting documents may be requested for verification

• Misuse or misrepresentation may result in suspension or legal action

The Trust reserves the right to approve, reject, pause, or remove any campaign without prior notice.

 

7. Fund Disbursement

• Funds are disbursed to verified beneficiaries as per internal verification processes

• Disbursement timelines may vary based on verification and compliance requirements

• The Trust is not liable for delays caused by third‑party banks or payment partners

 

8. Platform Fees

The Trust may deduct platform, payment gateway, or administrative charges from funds raised, as disclosed on the Platform from time to time.

 

9. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

• Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes

• Post false, defamatory, or offensive content

• Attempt to compromise Platform security

• Use funds for purposes other than those stated in the campaign

 

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to the Trust. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as‑is” basis. The Trust shall not be liable for:

• Campaign outcomes or beneficiary actions

• Losses arising from user reliance on campaign information

• Technical interruptions or third‑party failures

 

12. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Trust from any claims, losses, or damages arising from violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

 

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion, without notice, for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

 

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction over the Trust’s registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
